At Theravet Fife, we provide Class 4 laser therapy to help pets recover from injuries, reduce pain, and enhance mobility. This safe, drug-free treatment promotes healing and improves overall well-being without the need for invasive procedures.

What is Laser Therapy?

Laser therapy, or photobiomodulation therapy, uses light energy to stimulate tissue repair, reduce inflammation, and alleviate pain. It is particularly beneficial for:
✔ Arthritis and joint pain relief
✔ Post-surgical healing and tissue repair
✔ Wound healing and skin conditions
✔ Muscle, tendon, and ligament injuries
✔ Neurological conditions and nerve pain

How does Laser Therapy work?

The laser device delivers low-level light into affected tissues, which:

Improves circulation to accelerate healing
Reduces inflammation and swelling naturally
Encourages cell regeneration and tissue repair
Relaxes muscles and reduces stiffness
Speeds up recovery from injuries or surgery

Common conditions treated with Laser Therapy

Laser therapy is a versatile treatment used to address a wide range of conditions, including:

Arthritis & Joint Conditions – Reducing pain and enhancing movement
Post-Surgical Healing – Helping tissues recover quickly and reducing swelling
Soft Tissue Injuries – Easing discomfort from strains, sprains, and ligament damage
Wound & Skin Healing – Speeding up recovery from sores, abrasions, and injuries
Neurological Conditions – Providing relief from nerve-related pain

Why choose Laser Therapy?

Pain-free, non-invasive treatment
Proven to reduce inflammation and discomfort
Longer term relief from discomfort

What to expect during a Laser Therapy session

A trained therapist will apply a handheld laser device over the affected area, delivering soothing light therapy. Each session lasts between 5-15 minutes, depending on your pet’s condition. Many pets experience noticeable improvement after just a few treatments.
